[gridengine dev] building on centos 5.5 64 bit?

Hi,

I had run into the libcore issue before and was able to resolve it.

Here are my notes from the OGS forums:

Found shared library code for libcore.so on the fedora build site...
 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=208763
Download 6.2u5 source code and extract into it's own area.
Source code for libcore.c is there along with build instructions...
Extract using for example:

rpm2cpio gridengine-6.2u5-6.el6.src.rpm | cpio -idmv

Attempting to build distrib today...will keep you posted on the progress...

The build btw went well....

Hope this helps...the libcore code ( basically a wrapper...) "should" be in
the main source tree...
