[gridengine users] shadow master host with non shared sge_root

Hi,
Is it possible to set up a sge shadow master host on a non shared 
environment? Here's what we have:
Fully running grid with sge master sharing sge_root over nfs to 10 
compute nodes.
We have a spare node that I'd like to use it as master backup in case of 
primary master is down.
I understand that I can share nfs to the backup master too and set up 
shadow with no problem but when primary hardware fails, nfs will be 
useless. You guys have any advice/suggestions?
