Actually, an in-place upgrade from 6.1 to 6.2 is not possible.  And I have 
hardware for a new queue master which *will* get a shiny new version of 
SGE.  But getting that up, running, and well tested will take longer than 
the patience of those suffering these failing jobs can take.
