[gridengine users] Job not scheduled

I tried a new sge compilation and installation with an older version 
(sge-8.0.0b) because the new one was not working for me.
But now I have another problem:
if I try (as root):
# qrsh -verbose date
Your job 5 ("date") has been submitted
waiting for interactive job to be scheduled ...
Your "qrsh" request could not be scheduled, try again later.

In the log-Files there is no error-message or warning. What could be the 
reason?
