Is there a way for the files created to be owned by the user that submitted the job? I'd like jdoe's submitted job to create files owned by jdoe instead of sge_admin. Thanks.
For this reason the sgeexecd needs to be started by root. You will observe something like:
$ ps -e -o user,ruser,command | grep exec
sgeadmin root /usr/sge/bin/lx24-em64t/sge_execd
Then the started job can be executed under the id of the submitting user.
